Terms and Conditions

The following terms and conditions stipulate the community guidelines for this site:

1.1 Introduction

This agreement is between the Service provider (‘us’) and the Publisher (‘you’).

1.2 Monetary Agreement

When you accept this agreement you agree to this monetary division

  1. The Publisher gets 100% of every sale
  2. The Service provider gets 0% of every sale 

1.3 Publisher’s Duties

As a publisher you are responsible for the following in this agreement:

          1.1.2     Content

  • Publish content that you have 100% copyright. You must ensure that your content doesn’t violate laws or copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
  • Publish content that do not promote abuse or sexual exploitation of children, contain pornography, glorifies rape or pedophilia, advocates terrorism, or other material we deem inappropriate or offensive.

          1.1.3     Profile Details

  • You are responsible to provide accurate information about yourself as required by the service provider.

1.1.4     Mode of payment for your products

  • Every store onwer shall provide payment details for the store to the service provider. The Service provide will put the mode of payment on the list of payment details that appear on the checkout. The customers will be able to locate the store they bought the product from and use the payments details for that store as provided on the list shown on the checkout.
  • Store onwers shall complete the purchase once they confirm the payment fro the customer. The customer will recieve an email showing that the purchase is complete and can have access to whatever product purchased.

          1.1.5     Tax Payment

  • You are responsible to pay tax for your product (s). This is in accordance with the Law of Zambia. We do not deduct tax from your earnings. Hence you are supposed to calculate your tax from all your sales and submit it to ZRA.  If you are not a registered taxpayer, go ahead and register at the ZRA site. They will give you a taxpayer Identification Number (TPIN). Then register for the tax type. 1.4 Service provider’s Duties

As a service provider, we are responsible for the following in this agreement:

  • Advertise for you. We cover the cost of the advertisement
  • Notify you whenever there is a purchase for your product
  • Update you when there are changes to the terms and conditions for our service
  • Submit all the purchase receipts related to your product at the moment of purchase

1.5 Mode of communication

Communication shall be between the Service provider and the Publisher through contacts submitted by the Publisher to the Service provider. By default, the Service provider shall use the details on the profile for the publisher when provided to communicate.

1.6 Number of Accounts allowed and Security

Publishers shall open, only, one vendor account. They are not to use other ways to open many accounts. When this is discovered, other accounts shall be deleted and he/she shall be suspended from uploading new products until a written appeal is submitted to the service provider. The products on the first account shall still be sold for the publisher.

We provide 2FA (two-factor authentication) for accounts created here. However, management of those accounts is not only left to us but also to the owner of the account. Hence, it is the responsibility of the Publisher to create strong passwords and use 2FA that meets the need. We have configured Google Authenticator and Security questions for our users. Choose one of them from the two as your 2FA.

1.7 Closing of Account and Deletion And Strikes

1.7.1 If you desire to close your account, you can do the folowing:

  • If you are user without a store, you can go to you profile and on account you have an option to delete your account. NOTE: Deleting your account will disable your profile and remove your name and photo from most things you’ve shared. Some information may still be visible to others, such as your name in their friends list and messages you sent. Export Your Community Data: You can download a complete copy of all the data you have shared in this Community. This includes posts, messages, photos, videos, comments, etc. The data will be compiled automatically and delivered to you in a machine-readable JSON format. Please bear in mind that depending on the amount of data that needs to be compiled, preparing your download might take a while.
  • If you are user who has a store, follow point 1 under 1.7.1, then write to the admin using support@elpislive.com requesting for the store to be deleted and all the products associated with it. When deleted, you will receive an email indicating that your store is deleted.

1.7.2 We offer three strikes resolve.

  1. One: Warning
  2. Two: suspension from uploading new products until the appeal is made
  3. Three: closing of your account.

1.8  Change of terms and Conditions of Service

This policy shall be updated from time to time. The updates shall always be published at the end of every 4 Months. This means that all services provided shall continue to operate within the confirmed terms and conditions until the new one is published shall the terms and conditions be rendered void.
